Yathkuroon — Privacy Policy

Yathkuroon is an Islamic adhkar, supplications and ruqyah reading app developed by Dr. Mazen Alzamel. This policy applies to the Android app app.yathkuroon.

Data collection and local storage

The app has no accounts, ads or usage analytics. The developer does not collect your usage data, and the app does not send favorites, counters or reading settings to a developer server. Content and fonts work offline. Favorites, counters, reading position, selected wording, appearance and reminder settings are stored locally. Your operating system may include them in device backup or transfer according to your settings and its provider's policies. The developer does not control or access those backups.

Permissions and reminders

Notifications are optional. The app uses the device timezone for daily reminders, reschedules them after a restart, and may vibrate according to your settings. It does not need your geographic location, contacts, camera or microphone. Disable reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in Android settings. Reset reminder times after changing timezones.

Sharing, external links and support

Sharing opens the system share sheet and sends the selected text to the app you choose. External websites and email services have their own policies. The app does not automatically share text or send email. If you contact the developer, your email address and message are used to answer your request.

Deletion and children

Delete local data in Android Settings → Apps → Yathkuroon → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Manage or delete system backups separately with your system provider. There are no developer-held user accounts or reading records to delete. The app has no mechanism to collect personal information from children or other users.
